

Human anatomy/physiology, genetics, statistics, hematology, two courses of organic chemistry (I & II), and one course of biochemistry (I or II) within the past seven years with a grade of C or better.Microbiology (with lab) and immunology within the past five years with a grade of C or better.16 semester hours of biology and 16 semester of chemistry.

Enrollment at Auburn University or Troy University in the affiliated medical laboratory science program or bachelor's degree from an accredited university.Medical laboratory science courses are preferred, but not required: blood bank, clinical biochemistry, clinical microbiology, parasitology.GPA 2.5 with two or more medical laboratory science courses (listed below) or GPA 2.8 with zero to one medical laboratory science course.Minimum requirements for the School of Medical Laboratory Science include: Graduates of the School of Medical Laboratory Science are eligible to sit for national certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
